Would have killed to be in a Vegas sports book to see the reaction to that.

In terms of freak endings, this reminds me of Chris Duhon sinking a near half-court shot against UConn in the 2004 national semis which brought Duke to within one point of the Huskies at the final buzzer, and covered the game's two-point spread. The otherwise meaningless shot is reported to have cost gamblers more than $100 million in bets.

As a Duke fan, I remember watching it go in and yelling, "Count it! Count it!," and then my horrible anti-Duke friends whom I was watching with reminding me that the game was over regardless. Fuck that game.

I had a parlay on the outcome of the OSU game (picked OSU -7) and the outcome of the Washington/Stanford game (Washington +9.5) so I won some cash off of that pointless TD.

Wow. My god I would be livid. Although, when contemplating betting on last night's game -- which I ultimately decided against -- I was going OSU all the way. So while the ending would have been bittersweet, I'd have been happy with the money.

I would imagine he hedged his bet on the Bronco game.
