^^^ they HAVE to establish the run. If they get too "pass heavy" we're screwed because bad things seem to happen once Weeden tosses it more than 25x's in a game.

Exactly! GB actually did a pretty decent job with Lacy to keep Detroit's front 4 at bay from time to time (even though GB went through stretches where they went pass-pass-pass-pass-pass but I guess you can do that when you have A-Rod lol).

Even if they're only getting the 2.8 ypc McGahee was getting, they still have to pound it to keep Detroit's front 4 from pinning their ears back.

I already watched Patrick Peterson go head to head vs Megatron in person (I spent a good part of my day just watching those 2), now I can't wait to watch Haden go head to head with him on TV.

Wish these teams played much more often, great rivalry between two cities. If Johnson is healthy I think the Lions win, just too many weapons
