Gaborik is in. Comeau is in. Foligno is out, Calvert is out for 6 weeks because of surgery. Prout is a healthy scratch.

Gustavsson played a good game. 3-2 loss is disappointing. Next game is on the road at the Habs, which we should win.

2-1. I don't know how that happened.

It's called going 'full-retard'.

Impressive final 30 last night. I was sitting there and after the Jagr penalty, I turned to my uncle next to me and said "they may never score unless they get it on this PP." Boom, goal, and 2 goals later they were in the driver's seat. Schneider's 3rd goal was awful. Looked like a Marc Denis "softie."

Dubinsky was lucky he didn't get a game misconduct. He got away with 2.

Yeah the two wins are nice but were still in a hole from the early losses

I wouldn't say that. We're 9 games into the season and 2 points out of the wildcard. No need to panic.

As long as we can hover around the .500 mark we should be OK. Getting Horton back will be a boost, and hopefully the young guys progress throughout the season and we'll see the team get stronger as it goes on (similar to last year)

Gonna need to get more from the lower lines outside of Boll, who has never been an offensive threat. Letestu should be good for 40-50 points, as should Foligno

The only reason I say were in a hole is because we have only beat the worst teams in the NHL and are struggling against even the decent teams

Very impressive win tonight over the Leafs. Constant pressure and effort. Paid off.

Wicked snapper from Dubi. Can't wait to make it to a game soon. This team could be setting up for a good run. We need trade 2 defense for 1 more goal scorer.

Don't know if that's necessary. Remember Calvert will be back in about 4 weeks and Horton will be back in December.

I'm not really into hockey but I found myself watching that third period last night pretty exciting.

Columbus is also one of the only teams who absolutely refuses to rush guys.

There are 2013 draftees (and going back a few years) who are already contributing in the NHL right now. Meanwhile, the three CBJ first rounders won't see Nationwide Arena ice until 2015 or 2016.

This is correct. Although trading Nikitin should be in the plan somewhere...maybe at the trade deadline. He won't be back next year with all of the young D-line talent waiting in the wings.

Shitty couple games need a win tonight. Not sure who is in goal tonight.
