The problem was he should have left the bat on his shoulder until he got a strike. then shouldn't have swung unless he saw a fastball.

The stars of this team are the reason they aren't winning right now. Swisher, Kipnis, and Cabrera are the biggest names on this team. 2 hits from any of them and this game is 4-3.

If he goes to 2nd base before he steps on first it is a routine double play. He shouldn't have stepped on the bag. He stepped on the bag and realized there was a runner on 3rd. We would have gotten a run had he gone to 2nd base after he stepped on the bag.
