No way. This isn't Mike Brown. It's Walt Jocketty..he doesn't take this shit.

Same here. I just told someone he needs the Kiffin treatment, gone in the morning. This is an embarrassment. 5th seed in the NL with this team, unreal.

I understand what you're saying; but then he should have been fired after the collapse of all collapses last season.

He's not going anywhere and it hurts me to say it.

Eric Wedge would be a better option. Fuck, anyone. Literally, anyone.

Haha.

I said it when Tito was let go by Boston, that the Reds should have immediately fired Dusty and signed him. Amazing job he's done in Cleveland.

This isn't the Bengals where they can't get a better than average coach, this is the Reds where they should be able to get a top notch manager. I don't care who else they get, I just know I can't take another season of Dusty.

What is worse than first round playoff exits?

All that means is you have the talent to get there over a 162 game season, but can't get past the horrbile managing style.

We'll never be more than a 90 win, 1st round exit team with Dusty Baker.

Walt isn't stupid.

I wanted him, too.

And look what he's doing with Cleveland. Getting them to play best when it matters (September/October).

Dusty is just a fucking moron.

They haven't done anything in October, yet! And they have a pretty good chance of doing nothing in October also.

True, he did turn a 68 win team into a 92 win team though.

Pirate line-up has tremendously improved with the addition of Morneau and Byrd, both very tough outs. Combine that with Walker the way he is hitting the ball now, Alvarez with his 36 HRs and 100 RBI, and with McCutcheon in the 3 hole. Last AB Simon pitched outside for 8 pitches, then cam in with a 96 mph fastball hand high with only half the ball on the plate, and he got his hands out of the way and ripped a line drive to LF.

Putting Ondrusek in the game was the official white flag from Dusty.

There are no fucking white flags in win or go home games.....you pitch the guys that give you the best chance for 000000's.....Ondrusek is the 12th best pitcher.

I agree with Reds fans that think Dusty should get the axe. The Indians did the same thing with Hargrove who couldn't bring home a World Series Championship despite all the talent. It's a tough nut when expectations aren't met. That said...no guarantee that anyone else is going to do better.

Can't believe he took Liriano out after 90 pitches.

Kinda not accepting the white flag

With the talent the reds have, its guaranteed a competant manager could do better.

I get that other pitchers need to get their feet wet going into the division series....but I'd be too nervous.
