It's alright......Hanley going deep next time up, maybe Crawford as well.SportsAndLady;1518500 wrote:3-2 now
Of course the Cardinals get a dp there
I wished Wainwright would have put one in his ear last night. An awful lot of hot dog for someone who was 0 for 11 with 7 strikeouts prior to the bat toss.SportsAndLady;1518495 wrote:I wish Puig would have went out there and clocked about 7 Cardinals.

What is so wrong with a bat flip?stlouiedipalma;1518562 wrote:I wished Wainwright would have put one in his ear last night. An awful lot of hot dog for someone who was 0 for 11 with 7 strikeouts prior to the bat toss.
Oh give me a break...he flipped a bat and watched the ball. Oh, then he ran it out for a triple.stlouiedipalma;1518562 wrote:I wished Wainwright would have put one in his ear last night. An awful lot of hot dog for someone who was 0 for 11 with 7 strikeouts prior to the bat toss.
Lol okay buddystlouiedipalma;1518576 wrote:Sorry, your new rule sounds like it was designed for Joey and Jane's youth soccer league, where everyone gets a trophy. Traditionally, if a batter tries to show up the pitcher he gets some chin music. Nothing exciting there. You want the music to stop, you act like you've been there before.
Pretty convinced it's not hot dog. Hot dog IMO is "look at me, look at me".....he's over the top but this guy is 100% emotion. He's not doing it for show. He's fiery times 1,000. I don't think anyone out there plays with more passion or loves the game more.stlouiedipalma;1518562 wrote:I wished Wainwright would have put one in his ear last night. If my team is facing him and they drill him up and in and he charges out there and destroys my top pitcher......not something I'd really want.stlouiedipalma;1518576 wrote:Sorry, your new rule sounds like it was designed for Joey and Jane's youth soccer league, where everyone gets a trophy. He also clapped his hand before touching 3rd and riled up the crowd.SportsAndLady;1518574 wrote:Oh give me a break...he flipped a bat and watched the ball. Oh, then he ran it out for a triple.
If you dont want someone showboating, get them out. He could be 0/1000 and get a 30 foot single and celebrate like that...who cares??stlouiedipalma;1518576 wrote:Sorry, your new rule sounds like it was designed for Joey and Jane's youth soccer league, where everyone gets a trophy. Anytime anyone poses or tosses the bat like that it's for show. Ask Pujols about his bat toss in Pittsburgh a couple years ago. He didn't get pitched inside the next time up, he got hit and he deserved it.Ironman92;1518578 wrote:Pretty convinced it's not hot dog. He's the most entertaining player in the league and he can do things you just never see....opposing teams and grandpas won't like him.
And means literally nothing where he's from and played his whole life. Throw at him at get him extra focused....he's 2/2 since.....but Rosenthal will blow him away.stlouiedipalma;1518585 wrote:Anytime anyone poses or tosses the bat like that it's for show.
