God damn.....$125.00 bucks?

:@
I'll be happy if I can find just the three cds.

Walmart : In Utero (20th Anniversary Edition) (3CD and 1DVD) = $179.00Collected into the overstuffed "Super Deluxe" edition, which at press time cost around $125 on Amazon: a remastered version of the original album; a new "2013 mix" by producer Steve Albini; assorted B-sides, outtakes, demos and alternate mixes; the staggeringly great Live & Loud set from December 1993 (appearing on both CD and DVD); and a lavish booklet containing reproductions of Cobain's handwritten lyrics, photos from the sessions, a short reminisce from comedian Bobcat Goldthwait (the tour's opening act), and a fascinating 1992 four-page fax from Albini laying out his proposal and expectations for the sessions.

Nirvana is the 90's version of the Beatles, in that both are grossly overrated.

If you are a dude and don't like Nirvana you are either really old or gay.

Even if you dont like Nirvana, just like the Beatles, they completely changed the music scene. Ridiculously influential.

Didn't say I didn't like them, just that they're overrated.said_aouita;1510260 wrote:If you are a dude and don't like Nirvana you are either really old or gay.

I completely agree that Nirvana is overrated. Probably one of the most overrated bands in the last 25 years.dlazz;1510008 wrote:Nirvana is the 90's version of the Beatles, in that both are grossly overrated.
Probably not. What makes them so likable? Flannel shirts?said_aouita;1510260 wrote:If you are a dude and don't like Nirvana you are either really old or gay.

Grunge was a fun fad while it lasted. Probably like disco in the 70s, but with more depression and heroin.Laley23;1510318 wrote:Even if you dont like Nirvana, just like the Beatles, they completely changed the music scene. Ridiculously influential.

Btw, Nirvana isn't my favorite band and I do agree that they probably are overrated. But I still like them.

And that's more like it. Nothing wrong with liking a band, but thinking they are "the best ever" is how it is supposed to be. I pegged you as this guy.justincredible;1510603 wrote:Btw, Nirvana isn't my favorite band and I do agree that they probably are overrated. But I still like them.

Grunge was what started a lot of what we hear today in regards to rock music.Heretic;1510593 wrote:Grunge was a fun fad while it lasted. Probably like disco in the 70s, but with more depression and heroin.

I like the posters calling Nirvana and The Beatles overrated without any reason.
Great opinions, well thought out

Well, the reason they probably think they are overrated is because they didnt think they are/were worth the hype that people give to them.Mohican00;1510658 wrote:I like the posters calling Nirvana and The Beatles overrated without any reason.
