Tribe will head north, and presumably into some colder weather, to take on the Twins in outdoor Target Field. Hoping that the weather cant cool down the Tribe in the last regular season series of the year.

It has come down to this hasn't it? 4 games to play and in the drivers seat for a playoff birth. Who would have thought it? I think we all have written this team off multiple times this year but they continued to fight and control their own playoff destiny with 4 days to play.
I will say this: no matter what happens these last 4 games it has been one enjoyable season for me as a fan. Lots of young players stepping up and future seems bright. They have surpassed my expectations and made their manager the favorite for Skipper of the Year. They need to continue to play loose and play like they have nothing to lose...because they don't. Nobody expected them to be in this situation. It will be a fun 4 games win or lose and no matter what happens...a successful season in my opinion. With that all being said....go out and win and make the damn playoffs.

I've been a fan since 1959, and I must say this may be my favorite Tribe team ever.
...incidentally... I won't be posting a lot this weekend...lots of personal stuff going on...but I'll be watching and rooting: thumbup:

Soooo, I was remembering back in 1984 when Jamie Quirk hit a grand slam in the final series of the year against the Twins which knocked them out of the play-offs. That was Quirk's only at bat for the Tribe and he is one of the few on the all time roster who have batted 1.000 for them. Do you remember that? How about Footwedge and Royal_K?HitsRus;1507750 wrote:

Goon squad with the first run of the game! Raburn scored after a terrible bunt by drubs, then an error by 1st baseman. And as I type this goon Squad member #2 put a charge into that one. 3-0 tribe!!!
