They did a good job of keeping that shhh all season. Not sure why you bring it up now. But then again, it's TP talking... Players say he's running faster than he ever has. I don't listen to too much though during the bowl stretch. It always seems to be BS in the end.

yeah I'm not sure you bring it up now, but hopefully it doesn't cause him too many problems. Our offense gets REALLLY buttoned up if we have to bring Bauserman into the game.... can't use Guiton.... pretty sure we redshirted him

They did. If Pryor went down, I'd rather see a wildcat with Herron/Saine than Bauserman player.

This isn't new information, just not talked about a lot.

Knowing this has the result of being less critical of the offensive scheme and the focus on running game since the injury occurred, at least from my end.

Now all the "JT doesn't trust him", "he needs to pull it down and run", "need to run the option more", roll him out for passes" shit looks pretty silly.

Interesting ... I have been saying all season that it looks to me as if Pryor has lost a step or two since last season. This explains a lot. I still think he has the tools to be something special, in fact, in a way its a relief that there is a reason for this lack of an extra gear.

One of the toughest players in college football, maybe the toughest WR playing QB in NCAA history.

Or I'd rather see them punt on first down.

Even with a torn PCL he is faster than every player in the SEC.

I hope this is sarcasm. Pryor is very fast, but c'mon. Jeff Demps?

Still why did Pryor say anything? Did he desperately want Oregon players to be yanking on his knee in the pile? This just blows my mind. Wait until after the game. I hate to say this, but to me it seems like he is/was trying to make an excuse for the past few games (plus potentially Oregon). If he plays well, then he is a "warrior"

Jeff Demps 4.24
Demps and Trindon Holliday have both run 10.01 100m
Pryor reported at 4.33

get a clue

Did anyone see the press conference? Was he asked specifically about injuries or did he just volunteer this information out of nowhere? It seems really odd to just offer up this information when it has been hush-hush for so long. I really doubt if he's looking for a built-in excuse if OSU were to lose, but it's definitely something he should have kept to himself.

??????????????????????????

I saw it happen in the New Mexico game, just before halftime. Stupid Ohio State fans were ignorantly dogging Tressel and Pryor, because he came out after half time without his helmet and shoulder pads. It was mentioned in passing after the game, it was called a slight knee sprain. He was held out of play in the 2nd half as a precautionary measure.

?????????????????????????? Old news.

Um I am pretty sure that most everybody knew that he dinged his knee. Nobody knew that he tore his PCL. That's what makes this 'new' news.

You guys are lame. Don't you understand that I'm making fun of announcers/any fan, who constantly remind us of useless praise like this? We always hear about every player being "one of the best" etc.. so I was merely embellishing TP like he'll inevitably be embellished.

And if you're not an idiot, you'll realize that saying "one of the toughest" means he could be the most cowardly player in all of college football, but still be "one of the toughest". Get it?

Morons.
