I don't believe a word of what coaches say when it comes most things, trade rumors being at the top of the list.

Exactly.

Think of what the benefits would be by saying what your organizations intentions are with a certain player. What's the benefit of telling Adam schefter that Gordon is trade bait? So everyone knows they wanna trade him and low ball the browns? It's so stupid that people actually read reports "leaked" to the public and think they're for real.

It also can go the other way, as Rotinaj is implying. Of course Chud will say "we're not going to trade you."

Well they said it in the article...it may not be up to Chud if he is traded or not.

That is a way coaches get around it really......coach tells player he wont trade him..then GM goes ahead and does it and the coach basically says it was the GM who decided and not him

Bengals DBs Leon Hall, Dre Kirkpatrick, Reggie Nelson all unlikely to play Sunday. On the other hand, neither is Sheard

I expect the Browns to have a big game passing (did I just say that???). I still see them not being able to run it at all and the Bengals D-line to dominate. Same with the Bengals offense, should be able to move the ball through the air (no way the Browns can account for the Bengals weapons in the passing game).

Seems like everyone else sees a low scoring game. Not here. I'm thinking like a 31-24-ish game. Either team could win.

Would love to see both teams score 24. Lets recreate the 58-48 game from years back, that would be fantastic.

Both O-lines suck. Both D-lines are good. Both secondaries are banged up/not very good. The weather should be fine, not a November/December snow fest.

Not sure it will be quite the "58-48, every fucking play went for a breakaway TD" game. However, over/under is 43. I see that getting crushed.

With 75% of the Bengals starting secondary unlikely to play, the Browns better be flinging it all over the field. Gordon should have a big day.

Actually, only half the starting secondary is unlikely to play. Kirkpatrick is not a starter. They still have Iloka and Newman. And, even though we would have laughed at this a few years ago, Adam Jones is not that bad as a replacement for Leon Hall. I also think the Browns are probably not going to have time to fling it around vs the Bengals pass rush. I see a 24-10 win for the Bengals.

Newman and Pacman aren't starters on a good team, IMO. Hall and Nelson are by far their 2 best players in the secondary. 2 elite guys at their position.

I mean, the fact they had to re-sign Chris Crocker AGAIN shows something. It will be all about protection. If protected, any QB (even the bad or unproven ones) should be able to do some damage.

Browns pass protection isn't as bad as most people think. The o-line looked good with Hoyer back there getting rid of the ball on time.
