If they threw it backwards oob yes it would from my understanding. You Dont see that because is is a stupid risk.

Not if there is 8 sec left, you are on the 20 yd line, behind by 2, and no time-outs. I have watched many a game that it wouldn't be a stupid risk and have wondered why no one does it!

Yes it is. It HAS to go backwards, and if you are being held up by someone it would be stupid risky that it would roll oob before someone else got to it

Apparently Meyer slammed his fist against the table in frustration when talking about Christian Bryant's injury according to @AriWasserman

Just 5 yds inbounds, throw it, not roll it, and throw it 1-3 yds backwards from a lateral. Low risk and if you don't do it, you lose the game because the clock runs out.

Happy with the win. Hated the play calling after we got up 17. But I'm still happy with the win and the way we looked at times. Defense was awesome against the run.

Always been a Fickell supporter, but would like to see the defense be a lot more aggressive with their blitzing. Thought we took the foot off the throttle offensively after getting the 17 point. LOL if anyone thinks Braxton throws a better deep ball than Smooth Jazz.

On the Wisky side, Borland is an absolute animal, and Abbrederis is a fine player in his 17th year of eligibility.

I feel like we're getting away from the run too much, even though we have a great stable of running backs.

I think he probably means we got away from using Hyde/Hall/Smith.

This. I wasn't clear, but I figured me talking about not using our very capable stable of running backs would indicate I was talking about the running backs and not our quarterback.

I know Rod Smith wouldn't see a lot of touches as he's 3rd at best, but I thought we'd see more of Hall.

18 carries between Hyde (17) and Hall (1) isn't what I was expecting.

Yea, the designed runs by Miller weren't doing much of anything. The staff didn't trust Miller throwing the ball in the 2nd half for some reason. Let up and let Wisky back in the game.
