I think our defense keeps us in this one. My concern is can we move the football on offense especially with Friday's injuries?

How good is Orrville? I personally know nothing about them except for the fact that they went 1-9 last year but are normally one of the better teams and better known teams in the state. Can they go undefeated? 9-1? I don't know, that's why I am asking.

I am a Pemberville Eastwood follower and we are back in the same region with you guys now.

Yeah, this probably isn't going to end well. No shame in that. The same is true for almost everyone else in the OCC.

If defense can keep it close & we can run the ball effectively...who knows. Try to shorten the game and control the ball...easier said than done though.

Tall task for sure...but a win may literally put us on the brink of clinching a playoff spot...so why not go there & win it?

Look, the odds might not be in our favor Friday night...but with this teams will to win they will be in it. The longer the stay in it the better chance they have to win on Friday. How about an injury report on Owens and Zook? I love the fight in this team they are living RTR. Nobody will pick you to win again on Friday so go prove them wrong again! Win Riders Win!

I believe Owens was a hyper-extension of the knee. Appeared to be getting around OK at films Saturday according to a coach. Zook will not play Friday, but I haven't heard the extent of his injuries. My guess is he will be out for a few weeks.

Glad Owens is not serious . Zook what can you say, he just seems to get hurt in every sport he plays in . Every year another injury , gotta feel really bad for him . I hope he gets back quick we will need him especially on defense .

If we keep it the score close going into the fourth I like our chances, I like the heart of this team, we will have to play mistake free ball to beat a team like senior, offense will have to take it up a notch this week.

Not much going on this week...that always happens the week of Mansfield Sr Game. Let have a good week of practice this week. This week would be huge for playoff push. This has been a very fun team to watch this year. They play for each other and you can see it. Good luck Friday another step to take.

No telling how the rest of the season would play out but a win Friday might be enough for a playoff berth even if we ended up going 5-5.

I still say 6-4 is a lock for the playoffs...and 7-3 may get us a home game.

Also I heard Tavy Dyson is now Wooster's starting RB...had over 100 yds vs. Ashland. Good for him.

I know many Orrville fans and other locals around the area are surprised with the 4-0 start, but I heard one of our senior captains say and I quote... "we as a team are not the slightest bit surprised with our 4-0 start, we expected this".

When the frosh, soph, and jr classes see their senior leaders with that type of attitude it rubs off on them real easy. Always great to see a team with that type of confidence!

Keep up all the hard work Riders and go get another win!

Dyson seemed to be a good kid I wish we still had him hear, but I wish nothing but the best for him except week 10 of course.

Two 4-0 teams playing in an absolutely fan-friendly venue with HUGE playoff points to be had....I challenge ALL Rider fans to head to Mansfield and support this fine team! They have represented what Orrville football is all about so I say we as fans need to show them what Orrville support is all about! GO RIDERS!

Last one out of town shut off the lights! I would love to see Orrville fans come out like they used to. This team is worth the trip and very fun to watch.

Also, I think that the Davault family is undefeated this year. Mrs. Coach Davault is coaching 7th grade volleyball who also has not lost a game. Impressive family of coaches and Orrville is blessed to have them. Great job.

? will the rider O be able to move the ball on sr D or give time to throw when he needs to. Seems they had trouble moving the ball against lex. Can the Orrville D make enough stops or even slow down the Sr.O.

Those are the questions...I saw that we have only 18 completions for the season!! Wow! I never thought I would see the day when our passing game was that far down. The bottom line is they have been doing what they need to do to win. Sometime the passing game will have to get better fast. The heart on this years team is impressive Good luck tonight Riders.

Always a HUGE factor in any football game is who wins the turnover battle.

For the season...
Orrville - 1
Senior - 11

Hopefully that trend continues tonight and we are able to capitalize on their mistakes!

GO RED RIDERS!

Rough game for the riders. 31-0 in the second qt Sr is very good.
