I would say I'm pretty indifferent. As I told Justin before it was decided to allow the vote I only was a mod to try to help the site and if the majority thought the site would be better without me as a mod then that's fine, I wasn't going to be a child and threaten to leave. It was annoying dealing with the constant harassment from a few individuals, which they claimed would stop once I was no longer a mod. Honestly, the constant harassment has made me stop posting from time to time as a mod (as some observed), as it just wasn't enjoyable to post if I was attacked every time. I post as a source of entertainment, and the actions of a few were taking away from that.

There were really only 3 benefits to being a moderator:

1. You can check out IP addresses to see what alternate identities belonged to whom (assuming they weren't smart enough to use proxies).
2. You could neg people.
3. The access to the mod forum.

The other stuff such as unapproving and banning spam bots, or moderating personal attacks weren't enjoyable, it was just a duty.

Basically it was three minor benefits vs. a few very large annoyances.

I have never joined in on the merriment on dogging you about being a mod and never had a problem with you, but for you to list this as a benefit to being a mod?.........
