If we could somehow beat Shields tonight, We have Kluber and Salazar going the next two games. I would like our chances of a series win. And Swisher and Cabrera getting hot at the right time is huge.

Shields holds the ball well in his set (for differing amounts of time), but he is still REALLY slow to the plate. We should be running on him...looking at you Bourn, who hasnt moved for 2 straight Ks.

He should have been running during Swishers AB. And, heck, if he makes it Swisher probably just tries to pull it with 2 strikes and Kipnis just tries to put it in play. Voila, its 2-2...
I know that is a lot of speculating, but I just dont understand why we arent more proactive! Bourn led the league in steals 3 years in a row and had 42 last year!

Terrible break. Ball gets stuck on the wall rail where the scoreboard indents so Brantley had to run all the way to wall to get it. Then, the ump misses a pretty routine out call at 3rd. Leadoff triple.

Damn. A good outing for Kazmir spoiled by a back to back triples that chase him in the 6th. If they get that call right at 3rd...who knows.

because the Royals are over .500? They also won the season series versus the Tigers. They mentioned the other day the only reason the Indians are above .500 is because of they beat up on the white sox. Indians are 15-2 against the white sox and 66-66 versus the rest of the MLB.
