Sad thing is, they don't deserve to make the playoffs but will. The Royals can beat teams with winning records, like Detroit, but wont make the playoffs.

Royals shouldn't have lost so many games to bad teams then.

Every game this weekend is a must-win, basically. Baltimore playing Tampa Bay and Texas playing Kansas City. Automatically gain ground/cushion on someone with every win, and lose ground to someone with every loss.

I'm gonna sound like con_alma, but if they make the playoffs, they deserve to be in the playoffs. It's not like they would make it with a losing or .500 record. They can't help what other teams have done. Also the tribe have beat some pretty good teams in series, so just stop.

They beat Oakland in 1 series(but took the seasons series because of the sweep early on) and they beat Texas in two series. yeah, "pretty good" teams......

Cleveland is 32-46 against "playoff" teams.
Boston 1-6
Detroit 4-15
Oakland 5-2 (Which they beat when Oakland was struggling early)
Texas 5-1
Tampa 2-4
Baltimore 4-3
New York 1-6
Kansas City 10-9

Kansas City is 38-37 against "playoff" teams.
Boston 5-2
Baltimore 4-3
Cleveland 9-10
Detroit 10-9
New York 2-5
Oakland 1-5
Tampa 6-1
Texas 1-2

My point is at least KC would have a chance to advance to the ALCS. The Tribe flat out doesn't.

That looks like a standard track record for any team trying to squeeze in the last WC spot. Now please stop bitching about it and try to enjoy the possible run to a playoff spot.

While I hate Chris Perez, let's my forget he was throwing it 90mph when Boston came back to beat us twice. Should've won 2 more versus Boston if he is healthy
