Yeah don't worry about the note man. Good luck with it all. Hopefully you have a good time on your wedding day.

$7300 on cake & flowers!?!?

No matter how much you make or how much her Daddy has that is just stupid and in your heart you know it's stupid but you didn't have the balls to say so. Your screwed down the road unless you step up and say BS to some of this pal.

Damn and I thought when my wife and I spent $1200 on a cake that was a lot. How many people are attending your wedding?

5100 for flowers just seems ridiculous. Are a bunch being used for centerpieces or something?

Only 83 people. The cake cost so much because its being done by Jan Kish who won some show on TLC. She made a lot of cakes for celebrities. Our colors are black white and gold and the only way to make it actually look Gold is with 14k gold.

Her mom is the one who really went overboard on the flowers. There are a lot of large center pieces and candles throughout the athletic club. Here's a picture of the cake except it will be Gold instead of orange. I actually like it and the cake tasting was awesome. http://614columbus.com/article/sweet-tooth-la-petite-fleur-5568/

Money doesn't matter much to her parents. Her dad is a partner a major law firm. He is one of the most powerful labor attorneys in America. His partner was part of the National Labor Relations Board under President Bush. While paying for our wedding he bought a second sailboat/yacht and a vacation home in Mount Crest butte in Colorado so I don't think their hurting for money.

I'll hopefully be drinking from the 20 year pappy van winkle we bought her dad as a gift.

I'm sure Daddy in Law would be having a major crap right now if he knew you just outed him and his firm and how much he makes. Believe me dude that was dumb and you should delete that post immediately.

Good luck brother, I'm getting married in April, so I feel your pain on the planning. I'm pretty much letting her plan everything, I responsible for the honeymoon.

Haha He doesn't care who knows what he makes. If you really want you could just look up the home they live in and the price they paid and know he's loaded.

Trueblue I did the honeymoon also. I think the worst part of planning was the first and last month. Other then that I didn't think it was to bad.

Evidently money doesn't they're* (see what I did their? lulz) happiness. Regardless of how much he makes, its still a waste. $5300 could do so more good than a fucking flower arrangement.
