Is O'Sullivan the backup QB for the Bengals?

I think the Bengals will rest many of their main guys but still might be able to stay with the Jets in a low-scoring game.

That's the hope at this point. That it's only a 16-13 type game.

I don't think there'd be that much difference between the #3 and #4 seed becasue I don't think it'd make much difference if a game between the Bengals and Patriots was in NE or Cincy. And I'd think the Bengals would just as soon go to Indy for the 2nd round as go to SD. Hopefully the #6 seed will beat #3 seed NE and #2 seed SD and come to Cincy for the AFC championship. But, I'm afraid the Bengals have suffered too many injuries to go that far.
Yes, if the Jets beat the Bengals the Jets will travel to Cinci for the opening round of the playoffs.

As for 2nd round games.....2 reasons I'd rather be the #3 seed

*Just played at San Diego and it took some happenings for San Diego to pull it out in the end.....the Bengals have to be confident they can play with and beat them at SD.

*The NFL loves Peyton Manning

I agree with mhs95 that I'd much rather see the Bengals just play all their backups and lose this week and host the Jets. I'd much rather play the Jets instead of Baltimore or Pittsburgh or Houston, and then I'd rather take my chances at Indy instead of San Diego.

I don't see how the Bengals won't rest their key starters this coming week. Even if the starters play, the Bengals will show the Jets nothing. But I just don't see how Palmer, Benson and any other key players play more than a quarter, if at all.

HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHa...

1. all of a sudden they are the Bengals instead of the bungals
2.I remember a thread last week where you said "Isn't it ironic that bengals fans will be rooting for the Steelers this weekend"

Oh how 1 week can change everything. Now the ironic thing is you will be rooting for the Bengals this weekend because your steelers couldn't get the job done on their own.

Good luck finding where I ever called the Bengals the Bungals. You won't....because I didn't.

And yes....because my Steelers couldn't get the job done on their own....I'm relegated to rooting for the Bengals and Pats or the Raiders and Pats. I'm really hoping that the Raiders can pull off the upset as I already think that the Pats will beat the Texans. If not, the Steelers have no one to blame but themselves.

Just saw that I was quoted there so it was hard to tell. If it wasn't directed at me.....my bad.

Yeah definitely not towards you Killer... I would be rooting for the Steelers if the Bengals were in their place too.... Just found it funny last week on 2 or 3 threads Capone for some reason thought it was hilarious us bungals fans would be rooting for the Steelers even though there was no reason to.

Curious to see how this plays out. Would the Bengals rather have a rematch with the Texans who are on fire or show the Jets absolutely nothing and take their chances against Sanchez next week? If I'm the Bengals I go with the second option. I'd much rather face the Jets offense and Sanchez then face the Texans offense with Schaub and Andre Johnson.

Palmer is actually throwing a decent game today and the Bengals can't make a catch.
