It's game week, we need a game thread.

Let's start with taking a look at this hilarious UB thread

http://www.ubfan.com/board/index.php?topic=14353.0

My favorite part
During the its more than 150 year history, tOSUx has tragically devolved from an accomplished Agricultural and Mechanical College, which helped thousands of mild-mannered Ohioans learn simple, yet practical skills that made an otherwise useless population of simpletons into a somewhat more prosperous population of simpletons.
I find this hilarious coming from a fan of a school in WNY, where the #1 fashion statement is being a pregnant teenager, or as a male, having a mullet.

The OP was creative and worth a read. The rest of the thread was crap.

It should be noted that Buffalo suspended football operations in 1970. They restarted the program in 1977, dropping to the Division III level. From 1993-1998, Buffalo played in Division I-AA – now known as the Football Championship Subdivision.
They rose to Division I-A in 1999 and have only one winning season at this level – an 8-6 mark in 2008, under Turner Gill.

does his best LJ....

Also, the school's nickname, Bulls, is not adopted after their pro counterpart, Bills. The school adopted the name in the early 30's waaaay before the Bills were founded in 1961.

Just found that out last week

And Turner Gill rode the wave of extreme success (with that one barely-over-.500 season) he experienced at Buffalo to...

Gill will be back facing a familiar foe tomorrow in Kent State. Only this time he is in charge of Liberty's sideline. LOL

Liberty? Wow...talk about a long fall. And I didn't think it was possible to fall that far from a blah, unexceptional program like Kansas.

I mean we will destroy the Bulls but I think they will have a somewhat decent year in the MAC and probably get a bowl bid.

Buffalo has a linebacker that has pro potential in Khalil Mack, but I dont see them as even being decent in the MAC.

Ill be at the alumni club down in waikiki at 5am. Get some.beers and breakfast in me then scream and yell with probably around 100 other buckeye fans. Maybe a few more since its the first game. But the noon eastern games have the smallest crowds at the club.

New Yorkers don't give a fuck about Buffalo, because it is a shithole.
