The bad thing about this is it's being treated more as a joke because the bomb didn't go off and it set the guy's pants on fire. This is an attempt at terror though be it small but an attempt!!

That was on Xmas day. I think you misread it. It didnt happen again, they just took a second person from the same flight on christmas into custody. they arrested the guy who tried to light something and another guy who locked himself in the bathroom when the plane was landing.

haha no, i was referring to the original post. maybe i am misunderstanding the article. the way i understand it is the first guy had an accomplice. almost like the guy didnt want to be caught too so he tried hiding in the bathroom.

Nah I think you are reading it wrong Glory. The picture caption says it happened on Sunday. I think when it says the same flight in the article in means that the planes run the same routes everyday so it was the same one as the one on Christmas. It is written pretty confusing though.

yeah, i though it said the guy was taken into custody on sunday, not that the incident happend sunday(today). to me that is two different things.

I was at DTW this afternoon and was in a plane waiting for 45 minutes Flight crew said they had to unload cargo because of weights and balances issues, but who really knows.

haha i almost had toothpaste taken away from me. i had a small bottle in my bag for when i was traveling on leave from Iraq. he let me slide though because i was in uniform and had my ID.

The guy wasn't trying to do anything, he was just sick and happened to also be Nigerian. The flight crew was obviously extra cautious though given the recent events.

My brother is a U.S. Air Marshall. He was home for xmas and I asked him about what happened. He said if there would have been a Marshall on that flight. There would have been 1 single bullet in that dudes head. I found that to be AWESOME!!!!! To bad there wasn't one on that flight!!!!

???? Maybe I'm very naive but I would think our intelligence would be a bit better than theirs. And also, I'd pay you 1 million dollars if you could spot my brother on a plane and know he's a marshall.
