I think Kowalski (3V) is bigger than 138. He is a very tall kid. If he has, as a minimum, lifted more than a remote control all summer, he'll probably pack on a few pounds.

ps: S. Laney (THEE Groveport Madison). Thx.

Kowalski is planning to go 138 and has been lifting more than a remote control (Jim Edwards driving the lifting). They are both studs.

Will tri valley be in central district? Last time tri valley d1 they went north. Mix in little Demas at 138. Seems there's quite a few Darby and Bradley kids missing maybe cthelites can add insight.

Don't have any real inside info, and I think Black 160 is a good guess, and would guess Parker at 195. Again, guesses, not based on anything solid

Some other kids that might make noise.

Will Stratton, Bradley 120 last year, got injured at districts
Zach Donatelli, Darby 152 last year, qualified for districts but was injured
Zach Garrett, Darby, 113 last year, missed weight at sectionals
Mcgrath bros, bradley
Robert Valenti, Darby 106 last year, 5th in sectional to the top four district 106s

GregHines: if he can do both-pack on muscle AND go 138-I will be shocked. I'll be delighted too, because he's gonna be a hammer!!!! (As if he isn't already.)

Good call on 3V and their district assignment. They could head noth. I assume they are Central due to Zanesville's Central assignment.

One to watch out for is Cole Delaney from St. Charles. Qualified and won a match at district while wrestling up from 160 to 170. Came on strong and should make some noise.

Great thread oldskoolnike , I hope we can add to the list and make the corrections where they might be needed.

I agree that the Darby wrestlers and Bradley wrestlers need to be added. Are there any city league wrestlers that should be on the list ?

195 looks to be incredibly deep, with all the SQs returning in Pfarr, Johnson, Lybarger and Kamba, PLUS 182 SQs Hall (district champ) and Parker. I've heard rumors of movements up or down with numerous guys....should be interesting. As a district, we should have some serious placement potential here.

The HamTwp kid is Clayton Ray should be at 160 this season also as bump said Hammond from Canal should have a great year I would also look for James Wimer to make a big jump he has had a good offseason and can still make 106 Lasko may be able to get down also but both can do well at 113 West has a 106 that will turn some heads his name slips my mind right now

I've noticed rankings are a lot easier to do after state.

Doing rankings for the next season right after State? Seems like there would be a ton of question marks.

oops. My mistake.

Rankings generally are silly unless we are talking the OG of all reports and it wasn't done before season though.

What we have now is a bunch of wannabes doing rankings...
;)

Oldskool - Your weights look good for Marysville. I am sure kids will wrestle up; however I think you are right on.
