They are still assholes for their Strong Arm tactics. Don't bitch when anyone's rates go up...not your provider's fault.

It's not CBS proper, it's the conglomerates that own the affiliates. In this case, Raycom Media.

It will be solved before the NFL season, you can count on that.

March Madness, or the Masters and PGA Championship if you like golf. But I'm guessing the wife doesn't allow it.thavoice;1485871 wrote:Had not heard. I should try this with DirecTV since they don't have Fix Sports 1 yet. Maybe I will get free NFL Sunday Ticket.TedSheckler;1484697 wrote:Call them. I bet they'll throw some free HBO or Showtime your way to keep you.
I did it with Directv a few years ago when they dropped Versus and I wouldn't be able to watch hockey. I threatened to leave for Dish and they hooked me up with free Center Ice package.

Im pretty sure Fox Sports 1 will take the place of the current Fox Sports Soccer channel when it launches...thats the case on Dish anywayjmog;1486528 wrote:I should try this with DirecTV since they don't have Fix Sports 1 yet. Maybe I will get free NFL Sunday Ticket.
I stand corrected..http://www.deadline.com/2013/08/fox-sports-1-still-waiting-deals-directv-dish-etwork-and-time-warner-cable/

You're not getting anything until FS1 reaches a deal with a large provider. Directv will just tell you to GFY. FS1 is destined to fail if they can't reach a deal with at least 2 of these providers.jmog;1486528 wrote:I should try this with DirecTV since they don't have Fix Sports 1 yet. It's worth a shot if you don't mind waiting on hold for a long time only to be told they aren't going to do anything for you.jmog;1486528 wrote:I should try this with DirecTV since they don't have Fix Sports 1 yet. Maybe I will get free NFL Sunday Ticket.
It's not like you're losing a channel you had before if DirecTV doesn't pick it up (an instance where they might be willing to throw something your way). You're just not getting a newly created channel.
