Austin Jackson robs Chisenhall of a 2 run HR or maybe a double after looking at the replay.
Indians 1-0 after 2.
Indians 1-0 after 2.

Giambi has been a VERY pleasent surprise off the bench. .320+ with RISP??? Nuts for a guy his age. Granted, in limited opportunites, but love the fact he hasnt squandered them. Despite hitting sub .200 all year, I think we all agree he is a dangerous bat in the line-up...

Big knock for Giambi. Could have been more but good to have the lead.

I dont think that ball gets out. I think Jackson jumped a step early. I say that because he didnt hit the wall when he landed.

Let's see if Stubbs tries to bunt down to Cabrera. Bourn tried earlier but the ball died too quickly.

As an aside, I flipped over to MLB Network during that commercial. They were talking about this series and Asdrubal in specific. Said they took a few calls for trades but being in the race didnt shop him at all. The calls they took didnt really make it very far (presumably because we asked for a lot since we werent sellers).

Pretty good chance they really shop him in the off-season. And his value continues to drop

Jesus those were some ugly at bats. Almost looked liked they weren't trying.

I have to agree with Laley about Brantley. He has gone 200 strait games without making an error and leads the league in OF assists. I can't think of another LF having a better year.

And has quite a few really nice running catches. He doesnt have the diving catches, but he makes up for it (and more) because he has more speed than most LFs to get to a ton more balls.royal_k;1482771 wrote:I have to agree with Laley about Brantley. I think he makes it look easy...smooth. but that doesn't get you anything....you would be better off taking shitty routes and then diving like Choo always did lol

There were 9 first time gold glove winners last year. It isn't really a name recognition award... at least not compared to most other awards. I mean, Darwin Barney won one last season. And no, I didn't just make him up.wes_mantooth;1482734 wrote:Absolutely. He is damn good...I just think he lacks the flash and name recognition. It will be there some day though
