1st world troubles for sure

If you have DISH.....are you able to get all of the Reds games in HD?

Last year most games were until very late in the season....but this year is about 50/50 in SD and sometimes the HD games aren't on the Reds Ch 427....they are on 440-450?

I see they aren't showing all Indians games in HD either.

Also....if you have Direct TV do you get all these games in HD or just hit and miss?

I've talked with FOX Ohio and they offer every game in HD....but it appears DISH is being a little cheap with things.

Think I told you part of this before, but my one friend w/ Dish is having the same problem you are. His neighbor with Direct is getting everything in HD. I'll have to tell my friend with Dish this, as we've been wondering why things are like they are, so it might help to know that at least it's not just him having this trouble.

I know you mentioned it...thanks.

I just got off the phone with a representative of FOX Ohio and he said they are setting up a meeting with DISH to fix this issue because it's ridiculous to pay for HD package and they are offering fewer and fewer Reds games.

What's silly is they have given me to work-a-round but instead of caving or whatever for Reds in HD...they gave me 3 free months of STARZ, Showtime and Cinemax....but the one thing I want to watch it in shitty SD with a green cast around the players and a 4 inch border cutoff.

Dish sucks. Directv FTW!

Hopefully you can't get it fixed. Watching sports especially baseball in SD would suck.

I know at my friend's place, at least when I'm out there (a couple times a week), the Tribe is always in HD. It's just the Reds are about a 50-50 deal. Which sucks for him, because he's a big Reds fan.

DISH #444 has game 1 in HD

DISH #9416 has both games in HD

Jesus just put it on #427 where everyone knows it is. What is the purpose of hiding it?

This is correct. I typically find the Reds in HD on the Fox Indiana channel on my DISH. I've got the Hopper, so it's all channel 412-something.

Not a problem, but you have to search for it.

Not a Red's fan…but I have Dish and I thought every Red's game was in HD. Indians games too. My complaint (although it is with MLB and not Dish) is that Tigers games are blacked out in my area. Why the heck would Tigers (Cubs and Chisox too) games be blacked out in Mercer County Ohio??????
