Is it gas powered? Always wanted to try out a "real" RC truck

Yeah, I was looking in to gas powered RC stuff back around Christmas. My brother-in-laws dad got an RC boat (lives on the water in FL) and I was checking out the site they bought it from and found some pretty cool stuff. Expensive-ish, but cool.

One of my rommies in college raced gas powered. He'd actually use his regular car to jump start his R/C when he brought it up to school.
He always said unless racing or an expert yourself, the gas powered R/C's are not worth it. A lot more expensive and maintenance.

If wanting a good quality R/C that's not a lot of $$$ - Tamiya is a good brand name and the Hornet/Grasshopper models have a proven track record and have been made since the 80's.

These things are really rugged. Always nice when ya can smash the hell out of your R/C and they still work.

I'm not. I did however work at a place that made accessories for rc Aircraft back when I was in High School. (Dave Brown Products) He was one of the tops in the world at flying them. Expensive hobby.

Yeah, I loved them! But then I grew up! All seriousness though, I did get to play with some of the EOD robots last fall that were pretty cool!
