Thankfully I am watching the Root Sports feed. Dave Sims is great. It seems every other team has a great play by play man. We have the worst. You might recognize Sims...he also does Sunday Night Football on Westwood 1 or whatever they call themselves now on the radio.

I know Sims cause I think he is the best in baseball. I guess Scully is up there, but with no color man on his broadcasts, I just fall asleep

Good news is after we take the lead here (as walk-off as you can get on the road) again versus the Ms in our last at bat, they have the bottom part of the order up versus Tommy Chong.

Scully just cause he is classic. I like Vin because he reminds me of my grandpa.

Here comes Wilhelmsen for the save.

Big double for Brantley. Can someone get a big knock?

All those HRs a few years ago seem to have ruined his swing. Used to see a lot more liners and gap balls.

Tough one there. Can't blame Ubaldo...I'll take 6 innings of 2 run ball all day. The offense...save for Sunday....has been poor since the break.

I'd ALMOST deal him before the deadline.

Losing 3 of 4 against the twins/mariners isnt going get the tribe back in first place.

4 hits and 1 run against Aaron Harang? Pathetic.

Offense has lost 3 out of the 4 games. Another good pitching performance wasted:(.
This is a pathetic approach at the plate. I don't remember a time all year the Tribe has swung at this many 1st pitches.

Also, incredibly frustrating to miss the 2 best on the Ms and 2 of the best in baseball yet will lose scoring 1 run versus Harang.
reps.

If I were the starting rotation, I'd be calling out the lineup right now to step up.

We've wasted 3 solid starts and could only get 5 runs during those 3 games. We are getting runners on base but outside of Sunday (4 for 11 with RISP) we have totatlly sucked.

..
...an indication that making a big move for onen player before the trading deadline isn't really enough to take the team over the top.

:( We need the next 2. The Tigers playing CWS hurts, especially if we aren't winning. I just can't believe how bad Cabrera has gotten. He's one of our worst batters this season.

This is all your fault. If we lose this series...we will need to sacrifice a sheep to the baseball gods.

If we lose this series, I will hate Cabrera forever and may have to post a who wins in a fight: Cabrera or Votto question just so I can watch him get owned

He will be, but he won't be like Bourn or A-Rod and get a plea deal. He will wait ti his name is released officially, then probably appeal, and then get it. Might not even be until next year. But with the way he is playing, and on the Tigers, he will strech it out as long as possible

Isn't next year a contract year for him though? You'd think he'd want to take it now with his stock high so he can sign a contract before next season

I just can't see voluntarily taking yourself off a possibly World Series run
