Pineapple Express was awesome.

I like Franco. Oz was good too.

+1 for Freaks & Geeks...great show. Undeclared is also solid.

Also nominated for a few awards for best supporting actor in Milk.

To say he doesnt have talent is just ignorant. He chooses a lot of comedies, but he has talent.

He's actually not a stoner. I remember reading that of that little group, he's the one who doesn't actually do any of that stuff.

127 hours was a great acting job by Franco. It's basically just him in screen for over 1/2 of the movie. I wonder if he will invite the Columbia professor who snitched on him.

He was also pretty good in eat pray love, milk, and deuces wild. If you look at his early stuff it was almost all serious roles

I didn't think he was. He is like the smartest guy in Hollywood. He has a BFA degree and three MFA.

The June 20th edition of Rolling Stone had the interview. He hasn't done drugs since he was 17.

F4f just doesn't know anything other than what his portrays.

While I am not a huge Franco fan, he was exceptional in "127 Hours," and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" was surprisingly very entertaining. Freaks and Geeks is such a cool show, shame it got the axe so quick ... he was solid in that role but his counterparts admittedly carried that show.

I have no idea who he was. I did finally get to see Oz, the great and powerful over the weekend. thought it was a very good movie and set up nicely with the original. Didn't like the Oz actor tho...who is james franco of course.
