The Rev. Jesse Jackson had a jailhouse meeting with Marissa Alexander in Jacksonville Tuesday then followed it with an appeal to State Attorney Angela Corey to use her influence in getting the 32-year-old woman’s 20-year mandatory sentence reduced.[LEFT]“We see radical racial polarization in the judicial system,” he said. “That’s a cause of great concern.”
