Anyone else excited for the new season of Newsroom? Just binge watched the show and absolutely love it, his best stuff since the West Wing although I don't thing anything will touch that

Jeff Daniels is fantastic in the role.

And I love the idea of real stories in "present" times. It was fun to relive it all last year. I'm assuming we will have a 2 episode election one this year that will highlight the season like bin laden did in S1

It was great in spots, but other episodes were just boring or frustrating.
I'll DVR it or watch it on HBO to-go.

This. Seemed like it was a great episode followed by a flop. And repeat.

Just watched the most recent episode. With the exception of the 2nd one, I think they've all been pretty good so far this season.

Love the show, curious to find out who got fired. I'm assuming it was maybe Will or whoever the focus of their story was since that's the only things I can think of that would lead to multi-million dollar wrongful termination suits.

See, this is why this isn't my favorite (still like it though) show ever...I get so confused. I thought it was Maggie who was the focus of the wrongful termination suit?

Maybe she is and I missed it. But they did mention multi-million dollar and would she get paid enough for it to be that?

I think she was just giving a deposition or something.

I assumed she would get a multi million case if they fired her because she saw someone die and figured she wasn't going to do her job properly. Idk.

They didn't fire her. They've been asking her about an interview with a military officer. It has to do with Genoa. Something went wrong with the Genoa story.

Is that Maggie chick a dog or what? Unlikely two guys in the same workplace are fighting over that.

Haha I'd leave her for Olivia Munn in a second. Plus you don't have to deal with the panic attacks

If you like the Newsroom please do the republic a favor and hang yourself from the nearest light structure capable of supporting your dead weight. Thanks.

Good retort, moron. About the playground-styled comeback I'd expect from some idiot who considers the Newsroom anything but absolute garbage.
