Yeah, the song was incredible.

Paris Barclay agrees that the ending visuals kinda sucked.
Speaking of breaking the cycle, that final scene really brought everything full circle when Jax went out the same way his father did. When you saw the final version of the final scene play on screen for the first time, how did you feel about how it turned out?
I think we should have spent more time on the visual effects. That's the first thought I had. [Laughs.] Literally that was the first thought! But emotionally, when he raised his hands off his bike, and the look of serenity came over his face, I thought it was incredibly moving. That's just Charlie Hunnam's brilliance. And even that little look when he first saw the truck was amazing and subtle and great.

Top 3
The Wire (Final season wasn't as good but as a whole a great show)
Lost (ok the finale sucked but everything else was awesome)
SOA

whats slowly creeping up there for me in The League probably my favorite comedy ever even if some episodes are a miss.

Also so it will probably only be one season but I'm a huge fan of Gracepoint that ends tonight.

YEah, that production value was like a crappy sci-fi made for tv movie, but the premise was great and what I thought would happen as soon as jury told him his dad killed himself.

Link is dead now but it looks like you can buy the song on Amazon and iTunes. I'll probably drop the $1.29 to get it.

Breaking Bad
The Wire
Sopranos
Game of Thrones
Justified

Sons was awesome, but would probably fall in the 6th spot for me.

Some great shows like House of Cards will likely move in there, just need to put in some more seasons...then again, more seasons can be the downfall of what starts as a top 5-10 show ever and then crashes. LOST, 24, Dexter, Homeland (though, S4 has been phenomenal so far).

Also excluding all comedies.

Well it has been a week..........
Heard lots of good stuff about what people thought of the finale. Many of the poor remarks came from people who didnt seem to understand the whole concept of the show and how Jax death followed his own history.

Came to 10pm last night and I was luck...fuck, what is there to watch now on tuesday night.

I think lost people liked the finale, just thought the ended was done in a cheesy/terrible way. Could've been much better. The concept though was great.

I can't believe I missed this thread when the season was going on. I still have the last two episodes saved on my DVR.

I think the storyline getting ridiculous/out of hand/desperate... was done on purpose. Some people said that the series went too long, but it was meant to show the entire rise and fall of the club and more importantly Jax. The ending wouldn't have been justified unless everything else around him crumbled like it did.

As far as the Texas thing goes; wtf

If you spend anytime in TX at all (which I do regularly) you realize it truly believes it's The Republic of Texas and they can do whatever the fuck they want whenever they want to do it. A really annoying population of people down there who believe every idiot on earth should pack heat.
