The System in the UK receives high degrees of satisfaction per survey results. Indeed, maybe I have even been to the countries that you're assuming I have not been to and could provide my own anecdotal experience. But I would not bring that fact up because it is irrelevant just like it my own experience with firearms in the Navy was irrelevant to the actual arguments in the gun control threads. Indeed you should be happy that Obama passed Obummercare because it actually entrenched a workable form of private capitalism with private sector delivered health services and insurance plans while mitigating market failures. When are you going to understand that your paranoid rants do not correspond to reality? Healthcare has NOT been ruined under any reasonable definition of the term "ruin". The sky has not fallen. There has been zero "destruction". Indeed, every person the GOP trots out as some sad victim of Obummercare has actually benefited. As with all laws, there are winners and losers and the losers are healthy, young men...but they are not "losing" that badly, they were already losers in collective private insurance group plans and in the aggregate are society is achieving greater aggregate happiness.

There are still excellent doctors and hospitals but now more people are getting to go them.

Obummercare is irreversibly entrenched. Even a GOP candidate that wins will own up to this fact when in office after he lies to the base to get elected.

A classic point is how you, as you near retirement, a self-proclaimed conservative, argue against cuts to the largest socialist program in the world, Medicare.
