Yea, but I kind of thought maybe it was another piece that was sent to her like in previous episodes. Again, probably is her but could be another curve ball.

I figured they showed the jar because they wanted to throw us off or make us think...
By that I mean, it appears its Vogel, but this season has been all curveballs. So, I'm not writing it as fact yet.

I REALLY hope Dexter ends up in jail or dead. I love the character, but I will be thoroughly pissed if he ends up a free man. He has gotten progressively more sloppy and careless as the years have gone on. I definitely don't think Dexter ends up in jail..that'd be such a lame ending to an 8 season series.
He'll disappear and live somewhere with Blondie and Harrison, imo.

I kinda think it would be appropriate for Dexter to get caught at season's end. I checked, and he would easily be the most prolific serial killer in US history, and other than genocide, could be considered one of the most prolific in the world. Having that part come to light at the end, given what we know has gone on inside his psyche, I think that might be worth him getting caught.

I like this season, but just like in a few of the other seasons...if there isn't a good villain, it just isn't as good. I hate the Vogel character and her son is so robotic that I don't really care for him either.

Yeah I agree. Hopefully these last 3 episodes are great and they just had to throw this stuff in there to get to the end.
