Nevermind:SportsCenter ‏@SportsCenter 11m NHL MVP @ovi8 named First Team All-Star at right wing AND Second Team at left wing. He switched positions this season after 7 years at LW.

And RW and LW.

Edit: Whoops. Didn't see page 2 of this thread.

Blockbuster trade happening now. Seguin and Peverly going to Dallas for Ericksson. A few smaller pieces are moving also.

Depending on the prospects, I'm wondering why Dallas made that trade?

I think Boston is going to regret this trade down the road.

Yeah, that's what I meant to type, haha. I wouldn't trade Seguin...

fLOLyers giving Giroux that contract. One good season does not equal that money.

Sounded like his off the ice work ethic had a lot to do with it too. Also, he'll be playing center in dallas and Eriksson is a natural winger. While Eriksson is older, he's shown to be a better goal scorer than Seguin. I don't mind the trade, those prospects could develop into key players down the road. I'm excited to see how well Eriksson will play with Bergeron.

Next thing they need to do is lock up Rask and Bergeron. Then find a replacement for Horton. I think Krug and Hamilton will be in their defensive rotation most of the year with ferrance gone. Possibly Bartkowski too.

Eriksson is one of the best 2way players out there and him on a line with Bergeron is going to be deadly.

-Daniel Alfredsson will not return to the Senators after 17 years....Red Wings most likely destination.

-David Clarkson looking at getting close to 6mil a season (fucking stupid)

-Columbus seems to be the front runners for Nathan Horton

-Matt Cooke and Rob Scuderi seem to be on their way to Toronto

According to Dreger, looks like Scuderi is most likely on his way back to the Pens!

I will be very glad if the Wings get Alfredsson and maybe Horton or Clarkson. Get rid of Samuelsson and Cleary asap

Sounds like Cbus has offered Horton a long-term deal. It'd be great to get him here.

Great deal IMO. Great guys coming up like Jarnkrok and Jurco, while Nyquist and Tatar look like young stars in the making, why not put a 60-70 point guy in that top 6 to help make next year a success?

Sounds like the Red Wings are about to sign Weiss. What a terrific day in the Motor City if he does

Big contract for a guy with injury issues, but I like to see bold moves from the administration. Could not be more excited for next season - new division, new names, new hope.
