Thanks. I figured it was the same dude with everyone talking about him bringing up Jesus every second. He did that same thing when we went across the Falls. It was annoying to watch then, so it's safe to assume this would be just as bad.

Glad I missed it.

Haha, I love this crap. It always cracks me up when athletes thank Jesus or God. I'm sure an omniscient, omnipotent, all loving, etc. supreme being/deity would really care about the outcome of a sporting event.

Driving me nuts with that crap along with Joel Olsteen, fuck off. He said Jesus more times than an old black woman at church.

Yeah, I was turned off when Olsteen was on.

I will say, if I were a religious guy, I'd probably be saying all that too. It's got to be nerve racking as hell. Instead, I'd be saying "oh shit" the whole time.

Nick Walinda was saying it doesn't really matter if you're two feet or 1000 feet off the ground (aside from risk of death). IMO it's more difficult to balance when you have no depth perception to either side of you, but maybe that's overcome with experience.

When I was a kid, I remember watching his grandfather (Karl?) try to walk across some kind of skyscrapers or some BS like that in Puerto Rico. It was windy as Hell and you could tell it wasn't going to end well. Fell off the wire and bounced off a few cars in the street several hundred, maybe thousand, feet below. First real "Faces of Death" I ever saw. Pretty nasty and I believe it was on live TV, if I recall.

Great-grandfather, but you were right on the Karl part. Wiki says it was in 1978. Apparently him and his mother recreated the stunt a year or two ago. These people are all stupid.
