Interesting approach they are taking. I am still of the belief that cancer will never be cured, b/c big pharmaceutical won't let it happen. If it IS ever cured, I see another type of disease replacing it. Call me a dooms-dayer. But this approach is interesting, to say the least.

Yeah, big pharmaceuticals are the ones preventing a cure for cancer when they could sell said cure and make hella bank... :rolleyes:

The concept of fighting cancer with a virus is awesome, and it's also amazing that they can do it without fear of actually acquiring HIV.

I'm assuming they're doing it bc they are confident they can tackle the HIV if necessary?

Or I guess it could just be a better disease than the alternative. I didn't really put much thought into it before the first post.

Chris Rock does a pretty funny bit on this concept. But logically you would make more money by treating someone for years rather than giving someone a cure.

Seriously....ain't none of us getting out of this alive. Cure cancer and we'll suffer/die from something else. Big Pharm makes it one way or the other.
