Minnesota comes to town to complete the home stand. The series starts tomorrow(Friday) with Scott Kazmir (3-4 , 5.89) going up against the Twins' Deduno (3-1, 3.26). Hopefully, Kazmir will develop some consistency. It's dollar dog nite and fireworks tomorrow! Go Tribe:thumbup:

Chris Perez was scheduled to be activated on Friday(tomorrow), but his rough outing in a rehab assignment at Akron on Tuesday has pushed that back. Perez is scheduled to throw a bullpen session instead...and then be reevaluated.
I'll be going to the game tomorrow, but will probably be unable to post the rest of the weekend....let's bring home another series win:thumbup:

Great win. Solid performance all around. Smith and Pestano were lock down like the old days. The offense chipped away till they broke it open.
On the way out of the game, I walked thru the casino and thrw $20 into a slot machine and won $80...the weekend is off to good start.:thumbup:

Difference between Vinnie and Perez. Perez would have blown that save no doubt in my mind #bum. I hope Vinnie stays as the closer and get rid of Perez. go tribe

Seriously? I hate to seem like a Vinnie hater, but what in the world makes you comfortable with him in the mound? I've posted the stats, which have since gotten worse after last night. At this point I think Allen is the future closer. I always liked vinnie, but he has been bad for awhile now

If we are going to go anywhere this year, we are going to need the BP to be like last year ... that is, with Perez and Pestano back to form and doing their jobs well.
