Not surprised, that's for sure. With the lack of support he has from the fans, I feel bad for him but understand.

A little dissapointed in the decision by Tom to step down, however I'm sure it was eating at him after this season. He did a nice job last night at the banquet, and touched on his own personal playing days when they recovered from a 1-9 season to 9-1 the next year. It was his decision to make, and after reading the article, I hope he is sincere in staying with the program in some capacity.

Should be interesting to see who we get as applicants.

I guess this will settle some people down, the ones who seemed to blame him for every little mistake. Here is to hoping the new guy has some thick skin and can take the abuse.

Next year will be rough, but the following year should begin to see some improvement. This year's freshman team has a nice mix of size and strength, and finished 8-1-1 on the year. Of course we all know how things turned out for this year's seniors who were undefeated as freshman.
