Alright, lets sweep the fucking Cardinals.

I shouldn't be starting this thread, because they always lose when I start them, but I am feeling it.

That being said, Reds lose 4-0, Izturis goes 0-4.

Villareal sent down and Henry Rodriguez is called up. Hopefully he takes Izturis' AB's until Cingrani is called up.

Reds hitters, on average, are just not as smart as Cards hitters, or just not coached as well. Cozart should know they are going to pitch him away with 1 out and two on, and not try to pull it, and hit into a dp!

The cards hitters are so fucking good. Grind and grind and make you work, then drill you. Reds hitters rarely have a gameplan at the plate. BigMac gonna be a manager before long.

3 straight hits to center. They're clearly seeing leake well.

Dusty looks frustrated. More so than being so with Leake, he ought to be with himself and the hitting approach he has his hitters take, that he teaches, and consider re-thinking it to more mimic that of the Cards.

Wainwright will just run us over now. I'm turning this one off. Looks like a sweep is inevitable.

Wainwright knows the Reds won't take a walk and will not be very patient and try to hook the ball.

The Cardinals hitters work the pitchers and pull the pull pitches and foul off the bad strikes and then hit it where it's pitched.

Leake with a 5.4 ERA and 1.4 WHIP tonight is the best of the Reds pitchers tonight!

McGwire is the hitting coach for the Dodgers. John Mabry is the hitting coach.

Awesome game guys. Has anyone in the lineup not dropped like 20 points on their average over the last couple weeks??

Didn't make sense for him to go to LA other than the possibility of living there, surprised he left the Cards after a year or two.

Great question. BP would be my guess and he missed some games.
