Apparently a package of pot was sent to his house. I don't know how long Perez has been there, but apparently the police had trouble with the previous inhabitants.

It's actually possible that Perez isn't responsible. Not sure the likelihood of that being true, but it's within the realm of possibility since he hasn't been arrested yet.

Some of the comments at the end of the article are pretty funny.
