ND can't be trusted because they sweep child molestors, rape, and murder under the rug. I applaud Gee's comments for telling the world how it is rather than spouting cliche crap like every other school does.
Also LOL @ the SEC; can't read, can't write, SEC.

Still burt hurt. Wasn't Tressel like 10-1 against Michigan. Isn't Urban like 1-0 vs. Michigan? How does it feel? :thumbup:WebFire;1450109 wrote:Hope Tressel doesn't fire him.

In the PC world he shouldn't have said it(although any rational individual knows these comments were said in jest to elicit more donations from wealthy Ohio State grads). Although, Ohio State has never been about being meek and humble; its about being bold and making the world a better place. If you want lame and boring; try Dartmouth or other boring schools full of stuffed shirt entitled pieces of shit. :thumbdown:mcburg93;1450160 wrote:hahah I wish I could rep you sleeper. Seems the university doesn't like his comments. The university called the statements inappropriate and said Gee is undergoing a "remediation plan" because of the remarks.

The university understands that most people don't understand context and want to live in a PC world where no one is offended. Being offended doesn't grant you any additional rights. People need to grow up. Let me ask you, are you happy living in a world where people get offended for being called "black" instead of "African American"? Christ. :thumbdown:FatHobbit;1450185 wrote:Seems the university doesn't like his comments.

Gee continues to reaffirm to me that I chose the right university for my college education. The guy is a bold leader, fearless, and a role model on how to succeed both on the field and off. He's the perfect President for Ohio State and I hope the board triples his salary for continuing to push the university into the upper echelons of academic achievement.

I already think they should be $100 for students and $200 for general admission. When they get to that point, we can act like this is a problem.FatHobbit;1450201 wrote:They would have to raise the price of football tickets again...

Maybe for the big time games, but for the pathetic NC games....no way. It is as bad as the NFL teams charging full price for pre season games.sleeper;1450204 wrote:I already think they should be $100 for students and $200 for general admission. Because people are idiots.WebFire;1450215 wrote:Stands are still full though.
but of course...they wont lower the prices until people DONT show up.
I often turn down free OSU tickets in those early NC games against teams that have zero chance to win.

I'd go to the "pathetic NC games" any day of the week for $200. I mean really? It's Ohio State.thavoice;1450211 wrote:Maybe for the big time games, but for the pathetic NC games....no way. It is as bad as the NFL teams charging full price for pre season games.

"SEC fans also pointed out that one need not even study to get a minor at Penn State"
With one exception, no SEC school would be in the top half of the B1G, most aren't on anything close to the same level as even the worst. They should stick to football and whatever minor sports they're good at, talking smack over academics is a joke on their part.

I think you could make a case for Florida also. I wouldn't put any other SEC(besides Vandy obviously) school in the top 250 in the country. Hell I'd put MAC schools above every SEC school outside of UF and Vandy.queencitybuckeye;1450259 wrote:"SEC fans also pointed out that one need not even study to get a minor at Penn State"

Gee's comments are only "hilarious" to OSU fans, alumni & students. To the rest of the country, he's making the institution look like a bunch of bigots and even more easy to hate.
If I were an OSU fan, I'd be pissed. The media already bashes the university enough. This doesn't help.
