Cthelites good breakdowns. What team might not be top 10 right now but is improving and could be top ten by December. How good will Pick Central be ? Is Reynoldsburg coming along?

The more I think about it, I probably agree with you. One coach pointed out that the Monarchs have three solid champ probabilities: Sparks, Rahmani and Pfarr. You know they will have more than that because they are very deep. PLUS, the coaching staff has monogrammed khakis. That matters.

Marysville, Westerville North, Delaware Hayes , Lancaster, Mt.Vernon
Could be your top 5 at Darby? Mt Vernon has 3 solid possible District Champs if they get a few others to pitch in they could surprise

I wouldnt call Rahmani or Sparks probabilities, as both would have to go through some very tough wrestlers to win the district. But they are def possibilities.

Sort of my thoughts, too. Especially as it relates to Rahmani. He didn't seem to have an answer for Zepi when i last watched them.

Would think sparks and pfarr are favorites and Rahamani would be up there depending on wt class.
Marysville still team favorite but not as much cushion as last year

Marysville is adding Hayden Lee (Garrett, Indiana) to their lineup for the 2013 season. His dad and uncle both attended Marysville in the late 80's. Welcome to Monarch Country Hammer!!!
[LEFT]113: Hayden Lee, Garrett, Jr.

  • 2X Indiana State Placer (3rd/6th)
  • 2012 Super 32 All-American (8th)
  • 2012-2013 Disney Duals Silver Medalist

That will really help them at a needed weight. Also, Pfarrside is a great screen name.

Now they have 4 probable district finalists. The district team title might be sealed up now for monarchs

I actually thought Hayes might be able to shock people next year, but with the new pick up Marysville will be near impossible to beat.

Thanks snugglyhippo. Hayden will most likely wrestle 120.

Pfarrside, do you think that leaves Thorton at 13 or 106?

ITC has every line-up for every school within the local area. It's whiteboard looks like a giant Microsoft excel sheet. ITC also has at least two derivations of line-ups for each team. ITC's network, software, and charts are amazing. They actually already have the sectional brackets filled out, and yes, that IS before the selection meeting. It's some kind of Jedi-mind trick stuff. Intense... Like camping!

112in84: The Port is now considered a "non-funded varsity sport". Everything but one thing will remain the same. The one difference... the head coach will not get paid. Hence, my moving on. My brother (cruiser_94) is staying on. And the crazy thing... just about everything we wanted for the past ten years is starting to fall into place - I mean, other than the not being paid bit. My brother has had a core of 5 guys making weight lifting at least 4 days a week. This week he has seen 7 kids each day. 8am to 9:30am, weight lifting followed by drilling. We didn't get those kind of numbers at an open mat once a week!!! Now he is getting them on a daily basis. Also, there is a very good chance that the auditorium stage all winter, but maybe even as early as September!!! A PHYSICAL PRESENCE IN THE HIGH SCHOOL!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?! Amazing!!!!!! We haven't has that since the 1993-1994 season!

Also, my aim is to apply for the Pickerington North JH (Lakeview) job. Their most recent coach is taking a step back, so I'm going to attempt to fill those shoes. Tall task from what I recall about Lakeview. One nice thing will be the drive to and from the school. It'll be half the drive than The Port! I hope I can remain presentable for the duration of the interview process! :D :D :D

Olentangy Liberty, Westerville North, Darby, Bradley and THOMAS WORTHINGTON all look real tough coming into the year.

Liberty quietly loaded. Penzone is a threat to pin anyone.

North always working out....Struttman is large, Disabato fiesty and Durieux underrated (surprisingly)

Darby puts in the time. Parker could make 195 even more crowded.

Bradley graduates only a few.

Thomas continues the upward trend. Had a greco AA this summer in Ford (although he didn't have a strong high school post-season)
