Ok it was a squirrel I would not have felt so bad if it was a cat…
WTF the squirrel darts out, stops, changes direction, bolt that direction and then makes a complete pivot at full speed under my truck. I heard the thump and felt the bump, looked back a saw the tail twitching, hate when that happens. I think we should start marking our truck or car with little animal kill symbols under the driver door.

The funniest road kill sorry driveway kill was made by my wife, she hit and killed a ground hog in our driveway.. She and the kids screaming .. it was funny

What is your animal road kill list?

Squirrel
Duck
Birds… lots of birds they bounce off the hood
Note: I do aim for the Black Birds on the side of the road
Goose
Gosling
Possum
Cat
Ground Hog
Water Buffalo
Frog
Turtle
Snake

My favorite story is one night it was me, my dad, and our horse trainer trying to get from a show in Central PA to one in Southern Illinois after a 9pm class to show in an 8am class. Chevy 3500 pulling a loaded 6 horse gooseneck, going a little over 100mph. We hit a deer somewhere north of Pittsburgh. One of the most disgusting things I have ever seen. The deer just exploded everywhere. All over the truck, the top of the horse trailer, down the sides of the horse trailer. Some guts even went through the open windows on the trailer and there were blood splatters and chunks on some of the horses.

Wild pigs... In FLA!?!?! Never heard of such a thing!

I only have a bird and a skunk on my list.

I'd rather keep a deer off the list. Same goes for a pig! Sounds costly.

I was ran into by a deer last September. Had just started to accelerate through an intersection and a dear ran straight into the side of my car.

Seriously...Clark? Wild pigs are a huge highway nuisance in FL. I counted 4 dead ones one morning alone on River Rd in Venice.

Lol really? They have the 2nd highest estimated population in the US. There are wild pigs in Ohio too, a small population, but there are here.

I've taken out several small animals. Never really kept a list. Birds, cats, groundhogs, raccoons, possum. Wife took out a deer in our car last Memorial Day in Southern Virginia. Trip. From. Hell.

After reading this thread, I would suggest that deer do not bump draft very well.

Army 3/4 truck full of beer, pop, ribs, potatoes, corn heading to a small base camp off of highway 1 in Nam
The truck really did kill it, but the four rounds of .45 to the head did...
