Well he hit. And it was basically a bunt.

Yes do you understand he is hitting .220?
Why wouldn't you bunt?

You just jinxed him into a popup or a short fly DP at the plate. SMHMidstate01;1446728 wrote:Anything but a k or dp phillips!! Just get a ball in the air! !!

Career .225 hitter though. 100% right move. Luckily, Choo knows how to run. He didn't exactly execute the bunt...

Reds pulling out the big hits this inning.
Great read by BP to score on that.

I don't believe in taking the bat away from the hot hand. Usual Cozart, yes, you bunt. He was 4-4 against one of the best pitchers in the league though. Also, I would've been ok with him bunting in a situation where he could've hit into a double play.Azubuike24;1446734 wrote:Career .225 hitter though. 100% right move. Luckily, Choo knows how to run. All four of his hits were against Harvey, though. He's going to see the ball differently coming from a different pitcher. It's absolutely the right call to get the runner over there by laying one down.se-alum;1446741 wrote:I don't believe in taking the bat away from the hot hand. Usual Cozart, yes, you bunt. I understand he is hot "this game" but why wouldn't you want to get the runner to 3rd for Votto with 1 out?

Didn't matter what happened, they weren't going to pitch to Votto.Tiger2003;1446745 wrote:I understand he is hot "this game" but why wouldn't you want to get the runner to 3rd for Votto with 1 out?

Ok but I would still rather have 1st and 3rd then 1st and 2nd. If they didn't get the runner from 2nd to 3rd.

That's the Harvey Rule. No matter what, he won't get the loss. Saw that both today and when the Pirates had him a few weeks back, too.Midstate01;1446700 wrote:Tie game. Latos has only given up doubles today it seems. Fuck. Had harvey beat and now we cant give him an l
