Summer kicks off this coming weekend! What is everyone's plans? I'll be spending the weekend at the campground, with the Memorial Day 500 blaring on the radio!

Summer doesn't begin until June 21st.

As for me I will be working.

Parents are coming in from Ohio. I got a flag football game Saturday. Probably hit up a harrisburg senators game or hershey park

Going to a friends graduation/Memorial Day party in Chagrin Falls, going to put-in-bay with some friends, and then on Monday going to another friend's cookout in Strongsville.

Believe I'm going to Nashville for Friday night and Saturday then hanging with family on Sunday while watching the 500 and 600.

Friday will have graduation and if we win Tues also a district final softball game. Saturday...graduation party and Sunday alumni softball tournament.

Saturday or Sunday, around this weekend, I like to visit the Ohio Fallen Soldiers Memorial in Sunbury. That is hollowed ground for me. I think there are over 200 graves for Ohio's very own soldier who gave the ultimate sacrifice for my freedoms. It's always a somber time; stopping, walking through, and expressing my thanks.

Monday the church I attend holds a Memorial Day observance from 11am-12:30pm. I'm on the honor guard detail - 21 gun salute.

Throughout the week I try to carve out some time for two movies: We Were Soldiers and Taking Chance. Both are awesome!!!

That's pretty much it.

Parents are coming out on Thursday, staying with us through Saturday afternoon. Baseball Friday night, taking my oldest to his 1st Cubs game (in Cincy) on Saturday night, cook-out on Sunday and the Columbus Zoo on Monday.

Probably head to Detroit at some point with my friend to play some blackjack at MGM Grand. Been playing in Toledo a lot lately, so it'd be a nice change of pace.

I think Nag's Head wins so far. The ocean would be great on Memorial Day.
