Legit question. Say you could have Edwin Encarnacion back right now for nothing. He would hit 45 HR's, drive in 125 runs, but you would have to play him everyday at 3B, he would make 25 errors and you would pay him 8-10M/year until 2015. Do it?

If Frazier was the LF and Ludwick wasn't signed, and you have a legit chance to re-sign Choo?

I would do it.

Agree. EE drove me nuts, but the guy is a beast hitter the last 2 years. Imagine him at GABP.

Choo
Phillips
Votto
Encarnacion
Bruce

That's a sick 1-5.

Hoover is throwing a shit ton of pitches for only having faced 3 batters.

Pierre had 18 HR's in 8099 at-bats. 1 HR every 450 at-bats.

If he hit 2 in a game...wow.

Sweep's a sweep

Now need to go 3-3 in the next 2 series to go 6-3 on a 9 game roadie.

Take 2 of 3 against NYM and Philly, and that's a 7-2 road trip.

Cingrani vs Lee
Arroyo vs Kendrick
Bailey vs Pettibone
Leake vs Marcum
Latos vs Niese
Cingrani vs Harvey

A few observations. The Reds will need the offense to continue. Those pitching match-ups are not very favorable. Secondly, talk about getting to step up big time. Cingrani going against 2 of the best in the league.

For some reason, Kyle Kendrick and Shawn Marcum are really good against the Reds too.

Ah, just saw that. That probably means they skip Leake's start? Would make sense, and move him to Wednesday?
