Also, what was the point of the reply in-relation to my prior post? Might as well said the sky is blue...
Yeah, I've never been a fan of the BMI...even if I finally got in the "normal" rankings for them a few months ago. It just doesn't take into consideration anything other than height and weight, with physical fitness and muscle mass not being in the equation. The example I always use is that of your typical NFL every-down sort of running back who's probably in that general 5'10", 210-220 range. BMI says they're obese; reality says they're ripped and in fantastic shape. Now after their career is over, if they stay in that weight range or don't dramatically cut down their intake to reflect how they aren't burning so many calories, they'll wind up obese as the muscle turns to fat due to less physical activity (basically what redstreak was saying about him post-college), but to simply say that because is person is this tall and weigh this much determines anything is simplistic and flawed.

Not even after watching Se7en? I did a bit. No matter how much of a worthless bastard those two guys were, the retribution exacted was a bit disproportionate.

I think measuring someone's waist would be more accurate than BMI. You're 5'10 and 200 lbs? Do you have a 32" waist or a 50" waist? Who gives a shit how tall you are?

I know what causes my weight gain over the winter, BEER! lol I recently made the life choice to quit, but I still like the taste of beer, but I am afraid I just cant stop at 3-4 one or two times a week. During the summer I would still drink, but it was off set by being more active.
I do not have a drink once in awhile. I tried that and I cannot do it successfully. It always leads back to excess. Maybe not that one specific time, but if I have a couple a drinks, always leads to a "next time". Besides that, a drink or two is not really possible for me. I would rather not drink than to only have two. That may sound ridiculous to someone who doesn't have an alcohol issue, but it's accurate. I don't have much of a temper, but if I get cut off after two, I'm instantly PO'd.

In my case, stopping drinking wasn't because of weight gain. Although not drinking eliminates a lot of extra calories. I'm not a believer in "alcoholism is a disease". I think it is a personality characteristic of mine. We all have those in diffierent forms. I believe I have a personality that makes me crave the effects of alcohol in an unhealthy way and I cannot control my intake as a result.

Or has she? Whenever a new member joins, I assume it is an existing member creating a new account until something indicates otherwise. ;)

I purposely left her out to imply she was a man. LULZ!!!!!

It was a Browns backers bar btw, not on a military base. Obviously every Browns fan at the bar would have stopped giving a fuck about the game and focused all their attention on ytowngirl if she entered the bar . lolfail

Ah, I don't usually say this, but go easy on Ernest. He had to spend time in Detroit. That'd retard anyone up a little bit.
