Buckeyes & Irish May Match Up in NCAAs

Both the Buckeyes and Irish have advanced after 1st Rnd wins in the NCAA Mens Lacrosse Championships. Next Saturday Bucks take on Cornell and ND plays Duke. They are both favored over their two east-coast powerhouse opponents but Big Red & Blue Devils bring plenty of historical play-off experience to the games and these should both be real dogfights.

IF (and its a big IF) both the Bucks and Irish advance they will square off for the first ever All - Midwest semifinal in NCAA lacrosse history in the semis on May 25. At that time I'll be back to talk complete smack on the ND laxers as the Buckeyes are on a roll and destined to move on to the Championship.

I think NCF's updates on JH girls basketball was more rivoting than that update.

Well it's not a BCS bowl game so at least ND has a greater than 0% chance of winning. :thumbup:

I watched the buckeyes for a minutes a couple days ago. Cool they also play in the 'shoe. A minute or so later the Buckeyes coach started bitching about something and I changed the channel.

and if they were, so what? They'd still be ranked #3 in the country and its a 50/50 game with Cornell on Sat. ND on the other hand is struggling and although ranked #2 will probably get waxed by Duke.
