I though THIS was the true meaning of Christmas:huh:

Eh, he was a foreigner anyway. Expendable. Probably wasn't even a Christian.

This was probably just God's way of punishing him for saying 'happy holidays' instead of 'Merry Christmas'.

Also, like my view on religion, I believe that Christmas can mean many different things to many different people.
That's pretty much how I feel. I'm not religious in any way, but the day has meaning for me as far as my family and friends go. It's a great opportunity to show them some appreciation for putting up with my ass the rest of the year! ;)

Merry Christmas, everyone! I'll be back on here Tuesday or Wednesday and I expect to have AT LEAST a good half hour of laughs waiting for me. Make it happen.

its not the going to church part. its some of the people at church that make it unbearable. It almost feels like a cold day in hell when you walk in that place
maybe you are going to the wrong church?

Christmas means spending money you don't have on gifts for relatives you don't really like. I hate the whole commercialization of the day. I'm not religious so I don't really care about the "supposed" importance of Christmas. I find spending time with family tedious and unappealing. It's just not that big of a deal to me, it's just another day.

All kidding aside. If you are being serious, I feel sorry for you. the religious thing is a personal choice. If you dont have alot of money, gift in other ways. The spending time with family part being tedious? That costs nothinng to do and there is where I feel sorry for your way of thinking.

Yes, family is tedious. If I could afford it, I'd move across the country and not ever really see them at all. I just don't see what the big deal is. We've never been a close family.

To My Republican Friends:
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Let me condense that a bit....
Happy Holidays to everyone.
