Jonathan Loyd is fun to watch for the Ducks. Reminds me of a more talented Howard Chambers from Bowling Green. Chambers was like 5-7 tops when he played for the Falcons, and I imagine is still that today.

Well, Stanford-Oregon has lived up to its entertaining billing. Oregon has trailed most of the game by six to eight points, but the Ducks have connected on about five straight triples from different guys to close to within two late in the second half. Kinda sad that five straight threes only cuts the deficit from 8 to 2, but Oregon is a playground team, so Stanford is answering on just about every trip.

Oregon had a shot to tie the game at the buzzer, but missed a wide-open lay in. Stanford wins 82, 80. Not the outcome some of us here wanted, but great finish nonetheless.

The Ducks, with their particular brand of play, would just be horrifying to watch on a nightly basis as a devoted fan. Every game from here on out could go to the wire.

But very fun for me.

They will ill be an enigma in the tournament. Poised for a 1at round upset or could go deep. And that could go either way, since they might be the higher or the lower seed lol.

Watching UVA/Duke, another good one.

I feel like Bilas could say, "Coach K wanted a foul there.." after every Duke offensive possession. Dear god K is the worst to watch as a neutral fan.

I would like to see a game where they show both head coaches the entire game to see how much he really complains. I know he's seen on tv 20 times a game growling....I always thought Gary Williams was worse.

Anyways....I just think so much is magnified

Virginia may have come up on the short end of the scoreboard in this game, but Duke was the real loser tonight. This team is simply bad. Easily the most unpleasant game I've ever watched in the regular-season as a fan of the Blue Devils. Aside from the moments when Marshall Plumlee was in there, actually playing some semblance of defense in the paint, this team confirmed what I had feared the most: It has no heart.

Virginia lost by 40 at Tennessee and you're out at center court beating your chest after beating them on your home floor on a circus three-point shot? Fucking despicable.

Haha, this is a little overreaction Rec. They're not a top 10 team, but they're still a 3-4 seed, and a tough out in March. Final Four contenders when it's all said and done. It's gonna be okay!

I don't really know why you're comparing him to others who whine to the refs a lot. Doesn't really help your point, nor is it something I want to talk about.

No one in college basketball right now bitches and complains more than he does, on every single fucking possession. It's pathetic.

Honestly, they're not even close to a 3 or 4 seed. This team has a brutal five-game stretch ahead of it -- N.C. State (rivalry game that Duke almost never plays well in, and this team is Duke's worst in eight years), @Miami, Florida State, @Pitt and @Syracuse -- and finishing it 2-3 would be remarkable for this unit. That would leave the Blue Devils at 15-7 and 4-5 in the ACC.

I'm afraid, as of right now, Duke is at best an 8 or 9 seed and could be on the bubble if it falls to 4-5 in the conference.

Not sure why you need to exaggerate your point as it just makes you look so biased that you'd refuse to see him otherwise. I watched most of the 2nd half, Virginia lived at the line, Duke played dumb and he hardly complained at all even though the entire game was slipping away.

I'm not saying Duke got favorable calls...I'm saying every offensive possession for Duke, he's flipping his shit on the sidelines. Begging for a call. It's pathetic to watch as a neutral observer.

Why do you let it bother you so much?

Not that I have room to talk, as something as mundane as a player's head shape -- if I don't particularly like the team he plays for -- is enough to ignite an anger inside as hot as a fire, if things are not going my way in that game. I loathed former UConn forward Hilton Armstrong for this very reason -- he had too little a head for such a tall body -- and the hate was real. I have some major issues, though, with anger. Lol.
