Had to put the TV broadcast on mute. I missed who this guy is that they brought in to do some play-by-play...but he sucks.

Braves have already struck out 6 times. LaRosa's has to be happy this is only a 3 game set.

I turned the volume back up to hear Thom say "our thoughts and prayers are with you on Thursday." Was that some sort of make-a-wish thing?

I don't think it was an official make a wish thing. Reds had just heard he was struggling pretty bad with his health and has a pretty serious surgery scheduled for Thursday. They didn't say anything else besides that.

yeah 11 K's in a game isn't really all that unreasonable in this era of the game.

They said they talked to MLB and it was something like 12-13 total average a game. So they thought 11 for 1 team was a good number to go with.

We always end up buying other stuff while there. Drinks and appetizers. I doubt it's hurting them terribly.

They're stuck with it for this year. As someone who works for multiple Larosas we cringe when they get near it with how often it's happening, haha.

Didn't they project something like 11-13 times it would happen over the course of the season? They'll hit that by the AS break.
