Titles since 1949:

Boston 25
Cleveland 0

I mean, outside of the Big Red Machine and the Reds in 1990, the whole state of Ohio in that span, has gone without a title. It's actually pretty pathetic considering the state has had been represented in every sport for a long time.

For the size, Atlanta is really pathetic too.

The Hawks are the only team Atlanta even had in 1949 though. Falcons, Braves (unless you count Milwaukee) and Thrashers (before the move) are new/expansion.

But yeas, Ohio has been pretty bad. Columbus Crew have been the best team, postseason wise, in a looooooong time lol

Well, yes. The Hawks, Falcons and Thrashers were all expansion teams. The Braves were relocated.

Still, for a market that has been represented with 3 or 4 teams for close to 50 years (remember Atlanta had the NHL back in the day too), their results stink.

Not sure if you are including soccer in "every sport", but the Crew won the MLS cup in 08.

Factually, it is correct (talking NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB). Also not counting NFL Titles, only Super bowls.

It is wrong in the sense I brought it up, yes. But that was only cause it was so random and had nothing to do with Cleveland...aka, what Classyposter did. And it showed him Detroit isnt that special in comparison.

Especially considering 5-6 of those titles are from the redwings and Cleveland doesn't have a NHL team.

I know I have said this before, but classlessposter has to be the dumbest poster on the OC, and that is saying a lot. I am not trying to insult him either; that is just an honest assessment. He is pretty much a turdo 2.0 in the sense he comes in every cleveland thread and spews some troll bullshit and just leaves. I am not saying turdo is smart (he isn't, he went to marietta), but although we see right through his bullshit, he at least tries to make his trolling discreet.

Why dont NFL titles count? Especially when you went clear back to 1949 as your example. I get the reason you brought it up (classyposter), just dont get why you discount the NFL titles. You're ignoring 21 years of football.

Thats like giving a title to Cleveland for winning the AL Pennant in 95 and 97.

Knowing Cleveland, they probably wouldve lost to AFL Champion in each of those years lol.

The NFL was by far the superior league during those times. The Browns were not going to lose to the AFL champ.
